I have been a Computer Science and Information System professor at the University of Mount Union since 1991. My research interests are in hypertext systems, artificial intelligence, and virtual worlds. I have a wide and varied background.

My hobbies include reading science fiction, playing chess, playing 9-ball, and performing magic.

I know that there is no great secret to becoming an expert in any field of study, so when I want to further my education, I take a free online computing course from MIT or NPTEL.
