Mathematics Requirement for Mathematics Teachers

Students who intend to teach must satisfy the mathematics requirement in the appropriate category below:

• Early Childhood Teachers (preschool - grade 3, ages 3 - 8);
• Middle Childhood Teachers (grades 4 - 9, ages 9 - 14) with a mathematics emphasis;
• High School Mathematics Teachers (grades 7 - 12, ages 9 - 21);
• College Mathematics Teachers.
