The University of Mount Union offers a Major and
a Minor in Environmental Science. Below is an outline of both
programs. Full requirements for a degree are found in the
Mount Union
Catalogue.

Major in
Environmental Science
The major requires
students to complete four Core courses in
environmental science, four Breadth
Experience courses, and to chose a group of courses from one
of three Depth Experience (Geology,
Chemistry, or
Biology). Requirements for each part of the
major are listed below. In addition to the requirements
for the major students must complete all of the colleges general
education requirements and complete the requirements for a minor
in another field.

Minor in
Environmental Science
The minor requires
students to complete three environmental science courses, and to
chose eight additional semester hours in either Biology,
Chemistry or Geology as outlined in the table below.
