Beta Iota raised over $180.00 from September - December 2009 for Ponery Orphanage.
Past Contributions:
Our chapter raised $4,270 from January - May 2005 to support the Ponery Orphanage, to help the Avannesov children and to provide the Tomberg famly with $3,000 for Alexi's first operation.
5 % of every dollar Beta Iota recieved through dues was earmarked for Philanthropic causes. This money is held in a seperate account and cannot be spent for any other reason.
Alumni responded by Contributing nearly $2.500.
Beta Iota collected nearly $800 from students, faculty, and staff at MUC in March and April 2005.
Additional donations were recieved from Holy Trinity Orthodox Seminary and St. Theodosius Greek Orthodox Church in Rocky River, Ohio.
